• After purchasing the boat license, you will need to register it at a Wharf Manager in a coastal town, such as Velia.
• Take the license to the Wharf Manager and register your boat.
• Your boat will now be stored at the Wharf, and you can take it out whenever you want, similar to how horses are managed with Stable Keepers.

Keep in mind that boats are not required right away in Black Desert Online, and they are optional. However, as you progress further north on the map, a boat will become useful for exploring harbour cities and islands, as well as for maritime bartering and worker management.
