Kristian Ferrell
Will Solomon, born on July 20, 1978, is an American former professional basketball player. Standing at 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m), he played at the point guard and shooting guard positions. Solomon played parts of three seasons in the NBA, and three seasons in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He was first noticed at East Hartford High School in East Hartford, Connecticut, and went on to play for Clemson University. He was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft. Solomon also played for several teams outside the US, including Maccabi Tel Aviv, Fenerbahçe, and Antibes in France.

He continued his basketball career at Clemson University, where he was named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) as a junior. Solomon played parts of three seasons in the NBA. However, after just one year in the NBA, he decided to move to Europe and signed with the Greek team Aris Thessaloniki in 2003, winning the FIBA EuroCup Challenge. The following year, he moved to Israel and played for Hapoel Jerusalem, winning the ULEB Cup. In Israel, he was nicknamed "The Fish" (Ha-dag in Hebrew), as his last name resembles "Salmon" in Hebrew.
For the 2004-05 season, Solomon moved to Turkey and signed with Efes Pilsen, playing in the EuroLeague for the first time. With Solomon's help, Efes Pilsen won the Turkish championship that year. The following season, he moved back to Israel and signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, the reigning European champions. They came close to winning a third consecutive EuroLeague title but lost in the final.
Solomon then returned to the NBA and played for the Toronto Raptors, signing with them on July 28, 2008. On February 19, 2009, he was traded to the Sacramento Kings in a three-team deal. His final NBA game was played on April 3, 2009, against the Phoenix Suns. After his brief stint with the Sacramento Kings, Solomon returned to Turkey and signed with Fenerbahçe, helping them win two championships.
