Sheehey's professional basketball career
Will Sheehey's professional basketball career began in Montenegro, where he played for Buducnost. He then returned to the US and joined the NBA G League, signing with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in January 2015. However, he was waived by the Mad Ants in March 2015, after appearing in eight games. He then signed with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, finishing the 2014-15 season with them. In April 2015, he signed with Panionios of Greece for the remainder of the 2014-15 Greek League season, averaging 9.8 points per game.
In July 2015, Sheehey joined the New Orleans Pelicans for the NBA Summer League. The following month, he signed with SO Maritime Boulogne of the French LNB Pro B.
