The BCS National Championship Game, or BCS National Championship, was a postseason college football bowl game that determined the national champion of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The BCS format included four regular bowl games and the National Championship Game, known as the BCS bowl games. The four bowl games were the Rose Bowl Game, the Sugar Bowl, the Fiesta Bowl, and the Orange Bowl. The BCS was discontinued in the 2014 season and replaced by the College Football Playoff.
