Zoom Rize
Kevin Love has been a Nike athlete since the beginning of his career and has worn the Nike Zoom Rize shoes for many seasons. The Nike Zoom Rize is one of 2019's top-performing basketball sneakers. The shoe's traction is great for both indoor and outdoor surfaces, with the standard rubber outsole performing better than the XDR outsole for indoor-outdoor versatility. The forefoot Zoom Air bag in the second iteration of the shoe, the Nike Zoom Rize 2, is thicker than the first version, providing a bouncy and highly effective cushion for explosive movements. The Nike Zoom Rize 2 also features a thinner textile base than its predecessor, resulting in a surprisingly lightweight shoe that enhances speed and explosiveness. The heel support works through an internal counter, and while the shoe may not be the most stable, it provides security for defensive movements, side-steps, and hard plants for off-ball direction changes. The Zoom Rize 2 also features haptic print detailing on the textile base, adding a fashionable element to the shoe's performance-focused design.
